Wasiq says about this High1 outing..
Me and my group were lucky enough to be invited to a conference in Jeongseon-gun and obviously, the main attraction there, for us, was the High1 Ski Resort! I (being a foreigner and having never been to a ski resort) was very anxious at first; ‘would skiing be too difficult?’, ‘how will I communicate my problems to my group members who know very little English?’, ‘would I be a burden for the rest of them and ruin their experience as well?’, were just some of the questions that crossed my mind on the journey to the resort. However, my experience was surprisingly an extremely enjoyable one! Even though skiing did prove to be difficult for me and I fell on the snow majority of the time, my group members - and great friends - were always there by my side to support me. I didn’t learn to ski, but in the process, found out what amazing people my team mates are and how lucky I am to have them by my side. Thank you everyone! Overall, to say that it was among the best experiences of my life, would be an understatement!
